Description :: UMD 2.1.0 is the 1st update of second Major release of UMD (Unified Middleware Distribution) made available for the EGI production infrastructure. This release introduces support for Scientific Linux 6 and Debian 6 (Squeeze).

CLUSTER 2.0.0 released in SL5 and SL6:
- Publication in Glue 2.0 format implemented
- Possibility to map different queues to different clusters
CREAM 1.14.0 released in SL5 and SL6:
- Publication in Glue 2.0 format finalized
- Bulk submission supported in CREAM CLI
- Support for RFC proxies
- In cluster mode possibility to map different queues to different clusters
- Possibility to use EDGI connector
- CreamCE publishes non-production state when job submission is disabled
- CREAM DB names are now configurable. This allows the use of a single mysql server to host the databases of multiple CREAM CEs
- Limiter script (glite_cream_load_monitor) now reads the thresholds from a configuration file (/etc/glite-ce-cream-utils/ glite_cream_load_monitor.conf)
- Use of Axis2
- External jars are not included in the CREAM war anymore. So in case of e.g. a voms-api-java update, it is not needed anymore to also update CREAM
- Several configuration steps moved from yaim to package postinst scripts
- Several bug fixes
- Implemented changes are backward compatible with EMI-1
CREAM-LSF 2.0.0 released in SL5 and SL6::
- Complete the implementation of GLUE2 LDIF rendering in the CREAM information providers. In particular, address the dynamic information retrieved from the underlying batch systems.
- Now the LSF info provider allow - in a queue name and rpoblem with missing yaim check for batch system is now enabled. Also GlueCEStateFreeCPUs and GlueCEStateFreeJobSlots are not published anymore and GlueCEPolicyMaxCPUTime is solved.
CREAM Torque 2.0.0 released in SL5 and SL6:
- Glue2 support in the dynamic provider
- Implemented changes are backward compatible with EMI-1
TORQUE-WN 1.0.0 released in SL5 and SL6:
Torque-server 1.0.0-2 released in SL5 and SL6:
- New release for SL6
- Maui packages redistributed from third-party repository
UNICORE/X6 5.0.0 release in SL5, SL6 and Debian 6
- This release among others improved functionalities as the possibility of including / excluding files by special file in the base directory. Also it gets and improved error information about jobs from the batch system, transfer rate is published in file transfer properties and provides support for the EMIR registry.
CREAM sub-components released in SL5 and SL6::
- BLAH 1.18.1: This updates of BLAH fixes a problem of the bupdater for LSF which can leave job in IDLE state due to a timestamp problem.
EMI-WN 2.0.0 released in SL5 and SL6:
- This releases includes updates of the middleware clients of AMGA, dCache, GFAl/lcg_utils.
gLExec-WN 1.1.1 released in SL5 and SL6:
- New LCAS and LCMAPS plugins and new installation directories: /usr/lib(64)/lcas and /usr/lib(64)/lcmaps.

StoRM 1.10.0 released in SL5 and SL6:
- This release includes some bug fixes and adds a new functionality to StoRM BackEnd: Check gridftp responsiveness during gridftp load balancing component.
Information services:
BDII Top 1.0.2 released in SL5 and SL6

UNICORE XUUDB 1.3.2 released in SL5, SL6 and Debian:
Client Tools:
UNICORE Client6 v. 5.0.0 released in SL5, SL6 and Debian:
- With this release comes a new feature which allows running system tests.
EMI-UI 2.0.0 released in SL5 and SL6:
- In this release there are improved functionalities in the dcache client, dcap & srm-client. Also now bulk submission is supported in the CREAM CLI and support for RFC proxies as been enabled.
- Bug fixes- Also there are some important changes in the WMS client regarding the glite-wms-job-list-match, glite-wms-job-output, glite-wms-job-status and glite-wms-job-cancel commands.

Internal LB component:
EMI gsoap-gss 3.1.4 released in SL5 and SL6:
- This release fixes the issue that causes that every communication through GSI fails. This only affects when globus-gssapi-gsi >= 10.6 (globus >= 5.2.1) is used.

GLOBUS GRAM5 5.2.1 released in SL5:
- The Grid Resource Allocation and Management (GRAM5) component is used to locate, submit, monitor, and cancel jobs on Grid computing resources. It is the first release in UMD.

Installation Notes ::
All products in the UMD 2.0.0 release were verified against EGI's current Quality Criteria (for further information, please see the documentation links) to support 64 bit Scientific Linux 5 and Scientific Linux 6 (x86_64 processor architecture). Some products are also supported in 64 bit Debian 6 (squeeze).
