Description :: The proxy renewal daemon runs as an internal component of the WMS node, which is responsible for keeping proxy certificates valid throughout all the lifetime of corresponding jobs. The daemon maintains a repository of proxy certificates that have been registered by the WMS for renewal. After succesfull registration of a proxy, the WMS refers to the repository file whenever it needs access the proxy of a particular job. When the finishes the WMS unregisters the proxy from the repository.

Release Notes :: * What's new: - Functionality concerned, this release provides the same as ProxyRenewal 1.3.11 released previously with gLite 3.2 * Deployment Dependencies were restructured due to the conversion to EPEL-based dependencies. The ProxyRenewal daemon must be restarted after installation by calling /etc/init.d/glite-proxy-renewald restart * Known Issues: It is worth noting that MyProxy in its standard setup generates usage statistics and sends that information to MyProxy developers (outside the scope of EMI)
