Description :: The Logging and ookkeeping service (LB for short) was initially developed in the EU DataGrid project1 as a part of the Workload Management System (WMS). The development continued in the EGEE, EGEE- II and EGEE-III projects,2 where LB became an independent part of the gLite3 middleware, and then in the EMI Project.

Release Notes :: This bugfix release of L&B addresses several distinct issues relating to nagios probe customization, proper handling of rarely used authorization roles, and purging of jobs from the L&B Proxy. Documentation has been duly updated.
