Description :: The Logging and Bookkeeping service (LB for short) was initially developed in the EU DataGrid project1 as a part of the Workload Management System (WMS). The development continued in the EGEE, EGEE- II and EGEE-III projects,2 where LB became an independent part of the gLite3 middleware [1], and then in the EMI Project.4

Release Notes :: LB 3.2 implements extended messaging capabilities (job history, anonymization), server-side statistics, finalized CREAM support, and provides fixes for multiple bugs identified in various stages of the product's life cycle. Documentation was updated to reflect the changes. This release also provides fixes for previously unhandled c-ares exceptions, occasional notification interlogger crashes and problems with dumping and loading LB events. A few minor bugs have also been fixed and documentation was updated to reflect LB's release status and several new tests.
